WHO ARE THE BAGUIO GENERALS?
The Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center’s very own pool of Airsoft enthusiasts. We are one and most exciting social club catering to active and adventurous health care professionals and hospital personnel. The activities are bonding experiences created to form camaraderie and teamwork among its members. We certainly do not glorify war. If anything, our games or operations have taught us to abhor real combat. The only factors we are re-creating are the tactical components, which also provide that sustained rush of adrenaline, and that intense feeling of suspense, exciting action.
WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE DO?
We are who we are and we are what we are...Currently working in the same Healthcare Industry. Mean inside the hospital and mean on the field. Don't get easily fooled. We are just doing this as a past time. In our busy schedules, we need to unwind and to relieve the stress of our daily work and tasks, we play AIRSOFT.
THE EVOLUTION OF THE GENERALS...
The team name was conceptualized by Mr. JP Realina, "Blue Cross Militia" Derived from The Star of Life is a blue, six-pointed star, outlined with a white border which features the Rod of Asclepius in the center, originally designed and governed by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) (under the United States Department of Transportation, DOT). Traditionally in the United States the logo was used as a stamp of authentication or certification for ambulances, paramedics or other EMS personnel. Internationally, it represents emergency medical services (EMS) units and personnel. A similar orange star is used for search and rescue personnel and yet another version is used for Wilderness emergency medical technician.
Since we work in the healthcare industry and we represent saving of precious lives, we just change the "rod of ascelepius" with a crossed m4 to represent our love for Airsoft. With the help of Ms. Bubbles Dantes the Blue Cross Militia Logo emerged...
from this...
To the official Blue Cross Militia Logo...
Way back April 2007 we started as newbies to the sport...
here is our story...
We looked like infidels back then...
We didn't care if we wore t-shirts, we just wanted to play the game. But then we realized, airsoft is not all about pleasure. It has its own painful moments... and we have the marks to prove it. Then we started to look for BDU's for us to begin having our identity in the airsoft scene, way back BDU's was very expensive. Thanks to the famous "wagwagan" we had our BDU's for 350.00 Pesos, way cheaper than what they sold in marbay (maharlika business center). As we played the game we then discovered that the BDU's we acquired were authentic South Korean Army Battle Dress Uniform, not bad for a first set of BDU

WHY WE CALL OURSELVES THE GENERALS...
We are the Baguio Generals... it is not a boastful statement that we are above anyone else. We call ourselves the Baguio Generals because of a common belief. We believe that airsoft is a way of keeping us one, meaning each one of us is a general in the team in which we have the highest regard of respect among its members, that we are all equal in the battle field and in real life.
For us, it’s not about winning. It’s how you play the game as a team. Airsoft is brotherhood.... We are BAGUIO GENERALS...
